Red Light North

Red Light North provides a platform where users may post listings and communicate with one another. Your safety and responsible use of the platform are important. This page explains what Red Light North does — and what it does not do — so users understand their responsibilities.

1. Platform Role and Limits

Red Light North is a classifieds platform only.

We do not:

  • Verify or guarantee user identities or intentions;
  • Screen or approve every listing or message;
  • Arrange or participate in user interactions;
  • Act as a broker, agent, or representative for users;
  • Monitor or control off-platform activities.

Any communication, meeting, transaction, or arrangement between users occurs independently and entirely at their own risk.

2. User Responsibility for Safety

You are responsible for your own decisions, safety, and judgment when using the Service.

Users should:

  • Exercise caution when interacting with others.
  • Independently verify information before acting on it.
  • Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.
  • Stop communication if something feels unsafe or suspicious.
  • Report concerns or suspicious activity to us immediately.

3. No Guarantees About Users or Content

Because content is user-generated:

  • Listings may be inaccurate, misleading, or unlawful.
  • Users may misrepresent themselves.
  • We cannot guarantee authenticity or honesty of postings.

You must not rely solely on information posted on the platform when making decisions.

4. Illegal Activity Prohibited

Red Light North strictly prohibits illegal content or activity, including but not limited to:

  • Content involving or appearing to involve minors;
  • Human trafficking, coercion, or exploitation;
  • Fraud, scams, or deceptive conduct;
  • Content illegal under Canadian law.

Users are required to follow all applicable laws.

5. Zero Tolerance for Exploitation

We do not allow:

  • Content involving minors or anyone who appears underage;
  • Exploitative or coercive situations;
  • Content suggesting trafficking or abuse.

Content or accounts suspected of violating these rules may be removed and reported to authorities.

6. Harassment, Abuse, and Misuse

Users must not use information found on the Service to:

  • Harass or intimidate others;
  • Threaten or stalk users;
  • Cause harm or distress;
  • Engage in doxxing or unauthorized disclosure of personal information.

Abusive behavior may result in removal from the platform.

  • Remove suspicious or fraudulent content.

10. No Liability for User Conduct

Red Light North is not responsible for:

  • User-generated content;
  • Statements made by users;
  • Actions taken by users online or offline;
  • Loss, harm, or damages resulting from user interactions.

Your use of the platform is at your own risk.
